FRUITCODE ARCADE

Privacy Policy

Version 2026-09-08 · Effective September 8, 2026

This Policy explains what the FRUITCODE Arcade beta processes, why it is needed, what may appear publicly, and how players can request help with their information.

1. Information we process

  • Account information: email address, password hash, Arcade Name, account status, invitation use, and verification status.
  • Age eligibility: your birth date is checked to determine eligibility but is not stored. We retain only the range 13–17 or 18+ and the time of the check.
  • Profile information: privacy preference, portrait, frame, title, theme, background, showcase, companion, and other selected cosmetics.
  • Arcade activity: verified scores, progress, achievements, quiz answers, Tickets, Credits, passes, purchases, rewards, and leaderboard records.
  • Security information: session cookies, login attempts, timestamps, security events, and keyed hashes used for abuse prevention. Hosting systems may temporarily process network and request information needed to deliver and secure the service.
  • Future Lounge information: room presence, temporary approved reactions, quiz participation, blocks, and moderation actions. The first Lounge release does not include free-text chat or private messages.

2. Why we process it

We use this information to create and secure accounts, verify eligibility, operate games and progression, provide profiles and leaderboards, administer virtual balances and rewards, prevent fraud, respond to support requests, enforce rules, diagnose failures, and improve the beta.

Age-assurance results are used only for age eligibility and age-appropriate defaults, not advertising or unrelated profiling.

3. Public and private information

Depending on your settings, a public profile may show your Arcade Name, portrait, title, frame, background, showcase, achievements, collectibles, verified records, leaderboard positions, and equipped companion. Accounts age 13–17 begin with public profiles disabled.

Email addresses, password information, age range, Credits, Tickets, purchase history, login details, IP information, reports, blocks, and security records are not shown on public profiles.

4. Cookies and sessions

We use essential first-party cookies to keep players signed in, protect forms, maintain security, and remember approved account settings. Disabling essential cookies may prevent account features from working. Optional analytics or marketing technologies, if introduced, will be described separately and will not be bundled into required account consent.

5. YouTube and external services

Pages containing an embedded YouTube player may share technical and usage information with Google and YouTube under their own policies. Playback is optional and independent of Arcade rewards. We identify YouTube as the source and do not hide or alter its player. Links to YouTube Music and other services leave FRUITCODE Arcade.

Review the Google Privacy Policy and YouTube Terms before using their services.

6. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers needed for hosting, email delivery, security, database operation, and embedded services. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or during a legitimate business reorganization subject to appropriate safeguards.

7. Retention and safeguards

We retain account and progression information while an account is active and as reasonably necessary for account recovery, security, dispute handling, legal obligations, and system integrity. Temporary room presence and reactions are not intended to become permanent conversation histories. Security and login records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for protection and investigation.

We use measures such as password hashing, secure session cookies, CSRF protection, access controls, hashed network identifiers, audit records, and restricted administrator functions. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

8. Players age 13–17

The Arcade does not support accounts for children under 13. Teen accounts begin private and receive protective defaults. We do not knowingly use age-assurance information for advertising. A parent or guardian who believes a child under 13 created an account may contact us for review and removal.

9. Your choices and requests

You may change supported profile privacy settings, sign out, review account information, and use available account-deletion tools. You may request access, correction, or deletion assistance, ask a privacy question, or challenge our handling of information by contacting support@fruitcodeband.com. We may need to verify that a requester controls the relevant account.

10. Changes

Material changes receive a new version and may require acknowledgement before continued account use. Minor corrections may be posted without a new acceptance request. The version and effective date appear at the top of this page.

11. Friends and requests

Friends is optional. We store the accounts involved in friend requests, accepted friendships, request status and timing, and your block choices to operate this feature and prevent repeated unwanted requests. Your friends list and request lists are not public. Players involved in a request or friendship can see each other's approved Arcade Name and avatar, even when a profile is private. Sending a request does not make your full profile public. Finding a new recipient by exact Arcade Name requires that recipient to have a public profile; we do not provide an email search or player directory.

You can accept, decline, cancel, remove, block, or unblock through Friends. A block stops requests in both directions, removes any connection, and prevents mutual public-profile access. Your block list is private; competitive leaderboard scores are not removed by blocking. Unblocking does not restore a prior relationship. Removing or declining a connection leaves limited account-pair and timing information for repeat-request protection. We record request-attempt timestamps for rate limits; older attempts are pruned when that account next attempts a request. Account deletion removes friendships and requests; block and abuse-prevention records may remain during recovery and necessary security retention and are removed when the underlying account is permanently purged.

This Friends release does not collect online presence or currently-playing status, send game invitations, or support private messages. Those features are not enabled by accepting this policy. You may use the Arcade without adding friends.
